Introduction to Day Trading contains 2 sets of curriculum and are the basic courses that prepare a student to become a proficient day trader. The prerequisite course is meant for students new to trading and those that have a limited understanding of brokerage services and trading platforms. This prerequisite course is offered free to all students who register for the Introduction to Day Trading Course. Students should take this course at least once to prepare for the selection of a day trading brokerage account and data packages.
Introduction to day trading – These classes assume you have a good understanding of how to make a trade based upon the prerequisite class that you get with any ATC course. ATC builds on that understanding to incorporate the rules and methods needed to make low risk, high probability day trades. In day trading, positions are not held for weeks to months, but rather minutes to at most a few hours. In this class students will be introduced to a new set of tools that include analysis with price action, volume and most importantly time and sales data..
